I completely understand that it is often even hard to get out of your pajamas however the days when you have got some energy that 15 minutes will make you feel a million times better.

Getting Dressed in 5 Minutes

Have a uniform - a fail safe outfit you can mix up a little by changing a top, jacket or accessories. Channel in on the style you feel you are - it maybe Sporty Mama, Preggi Fashionista or perhaps Working Mum. You can apply this to your maternity or breastfeeding wardrobe. To find out your style check out my stylist page here to identify what you are.

Once you have worked out what style & shape you are then make sure you purchase (if you have not already) 4 staple, well cut pieces that can tie back with your own personal style making the most of clothes you already have in your wardrobe. The Essentials Are

Jeans
A darker shade of Denim Jeans that can be worn in most cases these days to work as well as out to dinner with a dressy top or of course can be dressed down with sneakers to perhaps a football game.

White Dress Shirt
Nothing elevates a pair of trousers, a skirt, or a suit like a classic White Dress Shirt. The simple upgrade to a crisp shirt adds elegance to an otherwise ordinary outfit and helps create a look that will feel as appropriate for pitching a new client as it does for hosting a casual Sunday brunch worn with your favorite jeans.

Black Pant
A sleek pair of Black Trousers with a flattering fit not only transcends trends, it is a master of multitasking. Without question, black pants are one of the few wardrobe staples that you can wear with just about anything else in your closet.

Day Dress
Since pants are now an acceptable form of dress for a myriad of daytime celebrations, the day dress doesn’t get as much play as it used to. But a sophisticated dress is often the easiest and most appropriate choice for such semiformal festivities as luncheons, recitals, and afternoon bridal showers. And when you (re)discover how little effort it takes pop on a dress, you’ll find it a pleasure to give your pants a well-deserved rest.

All these staples can work with your own personal style for example:-.

Boho Babe - Flared Denim Jeans worn with your fav leather jacket
Classic Mama - Skinny Black Pants & a classic Stripe Breton Top
Corporate Mum - Black Pencil Skirt, White Dress Shirt and your loved Pinstripe Blazer

All need to do now is to mix up your basics with a scarf, great accessories or your favourite go to boots!
